Successful AIPP Zone at The Property Investor Show & OPPLive
The Property Investor Show & OPPLive played host to the “AIPP Zone” again this year; an exhibition area allocated for AIPP members only. This was a great opportunity to catch up with many of our members, as well as new industry faces and international property buyers. Mark Sharp hosted Saturday’s “Avoiding the pitfalls” consumer seminar, as well as speaking on a number of industry panels over the 3 days.
Thanks to everyone who supported the Zone at the show, including Rightmove Overseas, Ash Communications, Barrasford & Bird Worldwide, Orbit Alliance, Azure Property International, Bacolet Bay Resort & Spa, and Property Global Investments. Bacolet Bay’s Nick Cheesman said: “The AIPP Zone was bigger than at previous shows, with a constant buzz of networking. It was great to meet up with existing partners and to make contact with new, potential agents”.
Congratulations goes to AIPP members Chebsey & Co, Invest in Brazil, uv10, Grup Immobiliari Natal Brasil and Morgan Forbes who all picked up an ‘OPP Award for Excellence’ at the show. Details of the AIPP Awards 2011 are coming soon...
AIPP feature in “The International Retirement Directory”
AIPP will enjoy a 6-page feature in the 2nd edition of ‘The International Retirement Directory’, which will be available from outlets including Amazon.com later this year. “According to recent research by the British government, 42% of Brits aged 55+ want to leave the UK, with 38% wishing to do so in the next five years,” says publisher Colin Miller. “That represents over three million people who are making plans now to buy a holiday/retirement home.”
The AIPP section in The International Retirement Directory will offer buying tips and advice, and appear alongside a ‘Property Buyers Guide’ which will list companies specialising in overseas property sales. Listings in this section will be offered to AIPP members at special discounted rates; for more information contact the publisher at email@example.com or +44 (0)1273 648909.
